On the grounds of the open-air museum, the straw barn from the Spatauf farm in Sarnthein and the traditional Harpfe tell of times when rye was cultivated and straw was processed throughout the farming year. Visitors can discover traditional tools used for growing and harvesting rye straw and experience the activities of processing and thatching.
