Bruneck is the destination for all those who prefer to get out and about on two wheels. And that isn’t just because – believe it or not – here at the foot of the Kronplatz and the Dolomites, we have 425 cycle paths to choose from. No, it’s also because of everything that you see and experience while in the saddle. Majestic castles, small churches, lush green meadows, peaceful villages – a genuine picture book scene that you can explore as you ride along. To the north, to the south, to the west or east – you tell us the direction, we’ll find you the right route.
Feel like a wonderful cycle ride in a fabulous landscape? How about one of our valley cycle paths? There are plenty of them around Bruneck. Each one more lovely than the last. Perfect for exploring the most beautiful corners of our holiday region with the family. Through meadows and fields, up or downstream along the river Rienz, from one village to the next, into the side valleys or over the Austrian border to Lienz – the best thing to do is get an overview by taking a look at the map.
Did you know...? In Bruneck, not only are the cycle paths amazing, but the public transport network is too. And it can prove to be very useful if the weather turns or your cyclist’s calf muscles go on strike. With the bike & train combination, you can also easily cover longer distances by changing from bike to train at ease. Your bike? It just comes along for the ride. Ideal if you are travelling with young children or you want to plan some time for sight-seeing.
