The Folk Music Day is all about singing, dancing, making music and sharing stories together. Throughout the day, music groups perform at various locations across the museum grounds. Dancing takes place on the larch-wood floor.
The festival is organised by the South Tyrolean Folk Music Association, KFS Dietenheim/Aufhofen, the Heimatpflegeverband Südtirol, the Dietenheim/Aufhofen brass band and the South Tyrol Museum of Folk Traditions.
