The internationally acclaimed and multiple award-winning female vocal ensemble Luminosa represents a promising and highly talented generation of young musicians. With a diverse repertoire ranging from classical literature to contemporary works, the ensemble demonstrates both its versatility and its commitment to a wide variety of musical styles.
The parish church of Gais is one of the oldest and most interesting rural churches in Tyrol. It was first mentioned as early as 990. Despite the many alterations made in later centuries, the building has largely retained its original Romanesque form. It is a typical three-aisled basilica with a semicircular main apse and two likewise semicircular side apses.
