3–14 June 2026
In June 2026, Bruneck in South Tyrol will become a cabinet of images for analogue photography: with the launch of the ANALOGUE Photo.Festival, a biennial festival dedicated entirely to analogue photography will debut to mark the 200th anniversary of photography — both in the town itself and at nine additional venues across South Tyrol. Under the motto “Beyond the Instant,” the two-week festival will, for the first time, bring together 15 local and international artists whose work places analogue photography at its core. The exhibitions will be accompanied by a diverse workshop programme — ranging from camera obscura and Polaroid to small-, medium-, and large-format photography, as well as specialist processes — along with numerous side events, including a pop-up store for analogue photographic materials and meeting formats such as photowalks, talks, and a photography get-together.
