This varied three-peak tour above Tesselberg combines scenic high-altitude trails, tranquil forest sections and sweeping mountain ridges to create a particularly rewarding circular walk. To begin with, the path leads you steeply uphill through shady coniferous woodland, before the landscape opens up above the tree line and you reach the first summit, the Geige. Even here, an impressive panorama of Bruneck, the lower Ahrntal and the surrounding mountains awaits you. Afterwards, the walk becomes much more leisurely: you continue along the broad, open mountain ridge with magnificent views to the summit of the Kor. The crossing to the Schönbichl offers a bit of variety and requires sure-footedness and concentration at a short section secured by a steel chain. You then reach the third summit of the tour via a gentler section. On the descent, the cosy alpine hut is the perfect place to stop for a refreshment before heading back to the starting point.
