This begins with a 360 degree panoramic view from Kronplatz, the mountain nearest Bruneck, and the no. 1 ski area in the South Tyrol. Because of its state-of-the-art lifts and excellent slope grooming, Kronplatz is one of the most beautiful ski hubs in the Dolomite area.
In addition to skiing, snowboarding, and carving, you can cross-country ski on the 10.5 km/6.5 mi trail at the foot of Kronplatz in Reischach; it's ideal for beginners and families. Ice-skate at the ice-skating rink in the sport park in Reischach near the valley station or at the ice-skating rink in Bruneck. The ice disco on Wednesdays is an especially attractive pastime.
