Stegen Market - 26.10. - 28.10.07

You can see them all at the Stegen market: the roast - chestnut vendors at the beginning of the lines of stalls. the ladies selling clothes. The leather - jacket merchants with their "very cheap - cheap jackets", the beggar with his cuddly toy monkey that dances on while its clock-work mechanism runs down, the man at the cheese stall, mulled - wine and sausage stands, a few cattle merchants, the flashing lights from the funfair, the merry company in the marquee.

Every year the Stegen market means the fun of being in the crowd and sensations for all the senses. You don't have to go to the Munich Oktoberfest or the Prater in Vienna.
The biggest market in Tyrol is a great experience, with shopping and revelry thrown in! So just come to Stegen, for an old proverb reminds us - "Those who go to Stegen market are sure to come through the winter well".
